FAN CLUB ASSOCIATION for all your favourite celebrities & stars - Fan Club | Fanzines | Fan Sites | Official Fan Clubs | Unofficial Fan Clubs .... they're all here !!
Q. What's the score with FanClub.org.uk ?
A. It's quite simple really - we are a Fan Club for Fan Clubs, and our website has information about stuff and things, objects and people, celebrities and stars, with info, pictures and videos of your favourite shows, films, bands, artists etc. Sometimes, if it's a singer or group we appreciate then there might be a discography or list of their greatest hits. A movie star or tv actor may have info on their film appearances, plus there may be a complete section about one film in particular if it warrants a fan club page of it's own. There's no boundaries what might be included on the fan club website and it get's updated regularly so check back often to see any new fan club pages we add as we trawl the web looking for inspiration. Remember, you can add a link to your own fanclub ….

Fan Club Society
The Fan Club Society is a portal to information about your favourite things, whether it's celebrities, music, television, entertainment, movies or sport. It's a network of official and unofficial fanclub websites, online fanzines, fan pages and fan sites about anything and everything that has a following. A fan page on our site could include pictures, videos, news, links to online forums, and more. A fan page could be about something or someone. A fanclub page for a person will usually have some background info on them, their age, when and where they were born, any awards they may have won, possibly a discography of their hit singles if they're a singer, musician or band, or a filmography and information on their screen appearances if they're an actor or actress. If it's a person we try to include a biography and if it's an item we do our best to get information on it's history and development. We're a fan club community and invite visitors to contribute photos and info to improve our pages, and if you run your own fanclub we’re happy to feature you on our site.
Quadrophenia is a 1979 British film, loosely based on the 1973 rock opera of the same name by The Who. The film stars Phil Daniels as Jimmy, a 1960s Mod, supported by Leslie Ash, Toyah and, towards the end of the film, Sting.
Quadrophenia was directed by Franc Roddam in his feature directing début. The film, set in 1964, follows the story of Jimmy Cooper (Phil Daniels), a London Mod. Disillusioned by his parents and a job as a post room boy in an advertising firm, Jimmy finds an outlet for his teenage angst with his Mod friends Dave (Mark Wingett), Chalky (Philip Davis) and Spider (Gary Shail). One of the Mods' rivals, the Rockers, is in fact Jimmy's childhood friend, Kevin (Ray Winstone). An assault by aggressive Rockers on Spider leads to a retaliation attack on Kevin. Jimmy participates in the assault, but when he realises the victim is Kevin, he doesn't help him, instead driving away on his scooter. A bank holiday weekend provides the excuse for the rivalry between Mods and Rockers to come to a head, as they both descend upon the seaside town of Brighton. A series of running battles ensues.
As the police close in on the rioters, Jimmy escapes down an alleyway with Steph (Leslie Ash) – a girl on whom he has a crush – and they have sex. When the pair emerge, they find themselves in the middle of the melee just as police are detaining rioters. Jimmy is arrested, detained with a violent, charismatic Mod he calls 'Ace Face' (Sting), and later fined the then-large sum of £50. When fined £75, Ace Face mocks the magistrate by offering to pay on the spot, to the amusement of fellow Mods.
Back in London, Jimmy becomes increasingly depressed. He is thrown out of his house by his mother, who finds his stash of amphetamine pills. He then quits his job, spends his severance package on more pills, and finds out that Steph has become the girlfriend of his friend Dave. After a brief fight with Dave, the following morning his rejection is confirmed by Steph and with his beloved Lambretta scooter accidentally destroyed, Jimmy takes a train back to Brighton. In an attempt to relive the recent excitement, he revisits the scenes of the riots and of his encounter with Steph. To his horror, Jimmy discovers that his idol, Ace Face, is in reality a lowly bellboy at a Brighton hotel. Jimmy steals Ace's scooter and heads out to Beachy Head, crashing the scooter over a cliff, which is where the film begins with Jimmy walking back from the cliff top in the sunset back drop.

WE'RE ALL FANS OF SOMEBODY (or something) .... AREN'T WE ? You might admire an actor, adore the voice of a singer, fancy a model or just love the taste of a cheeseburger .... that pretty much makes you a fan of that person or 'thing'. Nothing wrong with that - very often your admiration of someone else can inspire you to greater things and if they (or it) have a positive influence on you then that's just fine and dandy.
